Digital Dandelion Releases Rejoinder for Android

2009-06-15

LOS ANGELES—June 16, 2009—Digital Dandelion today introduced Rejoinder, a fast-paced timed reaction game for Google Android phones.

Rejoinder uses accelerometer and touchscreen gestures for true motion based character interaction. Players must flip, jump, stretch and tickle characters as prompted to earn points. Correct responses earn players points based on the speed of reaction. Top score achievements are recorded online, effectively allowing competitive play worldwide. “When you earn a high score, Rejoinder players everywhere will know of your achievement,” said Digital Dandelion President Jeremiah Cohick.

“Rejoinder is the first of many mobile applications we are developing. The Android OS’s technical innovations and strong hardware partners, such as the T-Mobile G1, have allowed us to design an engaging casual game with a great user experience,” said Cohick.  Recognizing the growing importance of international markets to the Android platform, Digital Dandelion will release localized editions of Rejoinder for existing European markets and other countries as the phones become available.

“The announcement at Google I/O of 18 new Android phones in 12 countries by the end of year is quite an exciting opportunity. French, German, Japanese, and Spanish localizations of Rejoinder are already in progress. We want Rejoinder to be enjoyable everywhere Android devices are available,” said Cohick.

Rejoinder is available for immediate download through the Android Marketplace at a limited time introductory price of $0.99.
